Now, more than ever, it is essential to maintain optimal health. Dental health plays a vital role in your overall health. A recent statement from the ADA (American Dental Association) and TDA (Texas Dental Association) says, “It is not only safe to go to the dentist – it is better than safe. It is essential for patients’ overall health and for preventing illness. Dentists are experts in infection control.”*
We follow the guidance issued by the ADA and CDC (Center for Disease Control) that safeguards patients. Studies show that there have been no cases of COVID being traced to a clinical dental setting. A recent JADA (Journal of the American Dental Association) study has shown that the COVID-19 infection rate among dentists is less than 1%.
Is it safe to go to the dental office? YES! We follow CDC and Texas DSHS (Department of State Health Services) guidelines. These are some of the things we are doing to keep you safe while in the dental office.
